    Ask Toolbar!

Aargh, after accidentally installing it (it gets sneaked into software installations) it is gone but the menu option remains on Internet Explorer 8!

    Can someone help me?

Did you uninstall it in Add/Remove Programs?

Maybe a program like Revo Uninstaller may show it, to enable you to dispense with it. R U is a handy tool to have anyway as it does a far more thorough job than using just the standard Windows uninstall method.
