    Availability of Samsung N510?

Anyone know where I can buy a Samsung N510? For some reason, I can't find them on sale anywhere in the UK... Looks like a general shortage of stock. Is there a reason for this?

Thanks, I had a look at that link. Unfortunately Amazon have none in stock, laptops direct do not have any in stock either. Some sites actually say this is a discontinued product - is this true?

I wouldn't be surprised if it is discontinued. With the recent refresh of the netbook range Samsung will be looking to release a Win 7 ION netbook soon anyway. They can't do this with the N510 as it would push the price to over £400 and step on the toes of the X120.

I would advise you look up the HP Compaq Mini 311c, has the older N270 Atom processor but other than that same spec and a good wedge cheaper.

    A shame as I love my N510!

There is also talk of some more VIA powered netbooks which offer improved video performance for less than the ION powered machines.

But I agree, the N510 always seemed a neat machine and it would be a shame if they disappeared.

I just refreshed the feeds for the sites comparison page and no other stores are listing the N510, just Amazon and LD as already spotted. I'll keep an eye out.

In the states, the N510 has been dropped from the Samsung website and the only place to purchase one is Amazon and the price has gone up from $599 to $605. I think the N510 is history.

Need independent testing of battery life and adobe flash fullscreen stuttering. Regardless of that, $599 is too expensive.
