    N220 and Adobe Photoshop CS4

I am considering getting the N220 to use whilst out and about taking photographs. Would this netbook be able to cope with CS4. I suspect I'll need to upgrade the RAM. Thanks

emjel - Welcome to the forum

CS4 runs quite well on the NC10 according to this thread so it should be similar on the N220.

    Other Photoshop information here

    Hope this helps

Thanks for quick response. On a slightly different issue, I read a report somewhere when a user was experiencing a problem in connecting to internet via AOL. It was established a compatabilty problem with internal card, but do not know outcome or how true this is. Any ideas.

    [/quote1277753652]Your welcome

There have been certain claimed 'compatibility' connectivity issues between certain wireless cards and some makes of routers but generally this is resolved by selecting the correct wireless driver and setting up the router correctly. For example on AOL the MTU setting should be set to 1432 bytes rather than the default 1500 setting which makes a significant improvement to the throughput speed.

I connect though talktalk in the UK, which is on the AOL network, and have had no problems so perhaps it true to say don't believe all that is written. Often these reported problems can be put down to poor line quality/interference issues etc.

If you have any further information on the alleged compatibility issue please post details as personally I'm not aware, in my experience, of any router make that will not work with the sammys.

    Hope this helps
