I want to buy this Samsung n220 thing. But in our local stores (I live in Ukraine) this model comes in two versions - NP-N220-JA01UA and NP-N220-JB01UA. The only difference between them is a CPU installed. The former one is equipped with an Atom n450 processor (clock speed 1.66 GHz, max TDP 5.5 W) and the latter comes with an Atom n470 (clock speed 1.83 GHz, max TDP 6.5 W).

The matter in question is the energy consumption of this Atom n470 CPU. Intel’s press release says that Atom n470 not only has improved performance, but also is more energy efficient due to optimized design. Samsung’s site says nothing. And I was unable to find on the net any specific info on this.

So I’m a little confused now, which one of these two netbooks is better in terms of battery life?
