Rf711 problem

I recently purchased a RF711 i7 17.3 laptop, it was an ex display model, every time i turn it on and its finished loading windows it comes up with a small window and says ''intel turbo boost monitor 2 has stopped working''.
Does anyone know if this can be sorted out or will it have to be returned.

I do believe the turbo boost monitor was meant for 2nd generation intel chipsets.
I have RF711-S04 and that software never worked well.
It's most likely better not having it running in the background since it only take up memory. (Not that the laptop needs anymore X.X)
