    Unhappy BIOS problem, please help!

    Hi everyone!

Since I've installed Windows 8 on my N230 Samsung's netbook (wich works incredibly fast by the way!), I've spent some time on this web site to solve some issues. Now it's time for me to ask for a solution

I think the fact I have W8 instead of Windows 7 is not the origin of the problem, because it's very retro-compatible.

I've just updated my BIOS to 01MA Version with Samsung tool. But when the PC restart, I can't access the BIOS Settings!! In the samsung boot logo, where I had "F2 for BIOS ; f4 REcovery", I only have "System Resuming". I tried f2, f1 and supr but there is no way I can access the BIOS setting. The BIOS upgrade was done well, with a message saying "BIOS upgraded , the computer will restart" or something like that.

Do anyone have a solution please, this is important since when my Windows 8 RC will be expired, I will have to configure BIOS to boot from a USB and reinstall 7 (I voluntarly changed my recovery area before the problem x( )

    Thank you !!

PS: Sorry for the strange english, i'm french, and i probably invented some word to say what I meant

Ok, I upgrade the post. I found a way to access BIOS setup: press "Esc" key, and then select "enter setup". I can now do what I want, but the "system resuming is still there, and I can't access Recovery area. So now that I have a full control of my computer AND BIOS, can someone give me a solution

    Thanks!

If anyone have this problem, I don't have a complete solution (it would be nice if someone would have it ), but at least I have a the half of the solution: to access the BIOS setup or the recovery program (normally, with f2 and f4), you first have to boot windows, and then to restart the computer from the OS. Normally, the "systel resuming" message should be replaced by habitual message (f2 and f4), and you can press the keys to access what you want.

But the problem is not yet completly solved, so if someone have a real solution to fix this, please, let us knows

    I hope this will help,
