Actually, the Korean versions were always 120 GB. The ones sent to Europe and the US got bumped to 160 GB. Technically, the Microsoft limit is 80 GB, as well as a 1.0 GHz microprocessor. They've cut a little slack in both those metrics, though, in allowing bigger HDDs and Intel's Atom.
I imagine the next major update to the netbook market will be when the dual-core Atom hits, provided Microsoft allows it.

Interesting - good spot on the NC11!
Talk of dual core always makes me think of this post. Early days though and I don't pretend to be an expert on those kind of details!

Good point. I was just in the process of updating my post (again) considering Microsoft's involvement in the matter. According to the Tom's Hardware article, the power consumption of a dual-core Atom is double, anyway, so that has to affect the battery life.

I guess the future is on the Atom z500's processors and on the chipset poulsbo. This combination will get us 8~10 hours off battery life with a good performance...
The future (near future) of MSI U110 & U115 will be based on this combination...
Being a dinosaur, Vista and a smaller hard disk is a bit of a turn off. Even the inclusion of SIM slot would be wasted on me!
