    Low volume in Fedora

I have Fedora 10 and win XP on my NC10. I really enjoy Fedora but for some reason the maximum volume in Fedora is much low than in XP. How can I fix that?

    Try this:

    1) Right click on the volume control
    2) Open Volume Control
    3) On the Device dropdown choose "HDA Intel (Alsa mixer)"
    3) On the playback tab make sure "PCM" and "Front" are set to maximum, you may need to go into preferences to make them visible.
