I may be wrong, but I don't think the NC20 supports the 64 bit OS. I know the NC10 doesn't.

Dual boot - Windows 7 Professional and Ubuntu 9.10 (Karmic Koala)

The NC20 have the u2250 proccesar with x64 support arquitecture
Cool - I don't think anyone else has tried 7 on the NC10.
However, under the bonnet, 7 is just an upgrade of Vista - so if the NC20 will run 64 bit Vista - it will also run 64 bit 7. Best to give it a go on a separate partition to the standard XP installation.

The new VIA Nano hs x86-64 instructionset which is the same as AMD64. It can therefore handle 64 bit osJust to clarify.
well I install windows 7 in my new nc-20, and this is the result:

Bummer. have you upgraded to 2 GB RAM?
That wouldn't surprise me wika, this is the first consumer laptop using that chip if I'm not mistaken. Also Windows 7 is still in beta. Good to know though. I could be wrong too, I know it is x86-64, but maybe it can't handle 64bit oses for some reason :/ Interesting to figure out. I was planning on installing ubuntu x64 on it. We'll see I guess... Anyone else install x64 ubuntu on an NC20?
I tried to use the x64 driver (windows vista) for Chrone9 but it didn't work
Have you tried to use the XP driver that came with the Samsung CD?
