We just found out about the pink model and it looks like a light blue/white model is now on they way! I think this one looks pretty cool actually and will stand out from the standard colours. I think it is still a little more feminine than the original dark blue coloured NC10 but thankfully not as girly as the previously mentioned pink model!
My guess would be that it will be the same specification as the other models. Perhaps we will see a steady stream of new colours coming along during 2009 to ensure that bloggers keep the NC10 alive on the netbook sites!
Thanks very much to my new Italian netbook friends for bringing this one to my attention.

Oh Snap, that’s North Carolina colors. Might need to look into this.
More models eh, NC10 looks to be the netbook of choice for Samsung. I don’t see them coming out with a totally different new model for a while until there is some innovation to justify it. Nvidia ion comes to mind or something else.
I wonder what other colors may come out. It’s nice to have choices.
Very nice! If this one would have been available when I got my NC10 I would consider getting this color instead of my white one.

@Mark, agreed, when I think about what else I would want from a netbook there isn’t very much. The whole attraction of the NC10 is that it is just right! They could cram in more gadgets and whizz but it wouldn’t really mean much to me! I guess in time they will have to drop the price but I imagine it will keep selling for a while yet.
The next thing I want is the full on tablet touchscreen business and I think that needs some time to mature and come down in price.
That’s the colour combo I had my first Asus eee 701 in, which started my whole netbook phase. Happy memories.

When, when, when will it come out? Is there anyway that Samsung can be contacted and asked? Otherwise, do i need to travel to Italy to buy such an NC10 specifically?
I don’t really want to buy a different NC10 knowing there is this one in the world somewhere. But the wait is so frustrating!
Good question, has anyone ever seen one? You can try emailing Samsung support, they are normally good at responding. Let us know if you ever find one

I have e-mailed the top managing office (because no one knew anything about it) and they said that the NC10 will not be avaliable in this colour in England.
“Before the NC10 was launched, the managers decide on what colours to bring in to the country. I guess that they thought that blue would not sell as well as the others. “
They have been very helpful. It’s nice to know. Although i can’t really see why not to have this colour. It’s prominence on this site is obvious
However, there is some good news:
“I spoke to the John Lewis account manager who told me that a violet model is in store but not on the web yet. I have seen it, it’s quite girly but looks smart.. a purple flower that snakes across the lid. I don’t have an image of one.”
I have no date yet on release but i shall tell you what he says when he replies.
Hi, i have found a picture but i can’t say i am terribly impressed. The finish is basically black with a few purple swirls. I can’t say it really compares to the blue in my opinion.
