A recent bump of an older forum post made me realise that I hadn’t blogged this netbook mod tip from forum member ankan.
Adding a Broadcom HD decoder card to the Samsung NC10 is not a new experience, we first highlighted this late last year.
However the first attempts at this were at the expense of the NC10′s existing WiFi card. Not ideal for many modders as they quite like to use the Internet from time to time! Later, another forum member discovered how to add a second slot, but the Broadcom decoder card didn’t see to work here.
But now this problem has also been solved.
Note: This tip requires some very careful soldering. Attempt at your own risk, neither this site nor Samsung can offer any support for such mods!
