Absolutely! I use TinyMenu and Fission plugin myself. Extremely useful! Samsung NC10 EVO White (2008-11-05), 2GB RAM, 500GB Hitachi 5K500.B + 160GB external, speaker mod. Win XP Home
Another Firefox plug-in, bookmark synchronizer Foxmarks, is a must have add-on too. NC10 Blue, 2GB, Intel 5300AGN, Anywhere Mouse, XP, Firefox, AVG, Dropbox, Mozy, Logmein
That's a pretty sweet mod, although I think I've come up with something better.
First, do a few things to maximize the space you have already: take out the status bar under "view," and customize the toolbar to have small icons (right click, go to customize, and then select the "use small icons" option).
Second thing to do is be in full screen mode. If you're like me, you don't want to have to push f11 every time you turn on Firefox. To avoid this problem, install the add-on called Autohide which is located here: http://www.krickelkrackel.de/autohide/autohide.htm I know the "Use Autohide at your own risk!" seems scary, but this mod doesn't seem to be destroying my computer. Anyway, if you install this add-on, press f11 to go into full screen mode and altf4 out of Firefox, every time you open up Firefox, it opens up in full screen.
The third and final step which was very important to me was installing the add-on called Speed Dial located here: https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/4810 This baby lets me assign all my bookmarks a number and access them by simply pushing control-#. Without Speed Dial there is no way to access bookmarks while Firefox is in full screen mode.
And note that in the after screen shot, the only reason you see the toolbar at all is because I'm holding my mouse over it. Otherwise, the toolbar is hidden and the entire nc10 screen in its minuscule glory is devoted to the website you're visiting.
Let me know if this works out for you and if you have any ideas for improvement!
